Oscar Linares is a fashion photographer.
He was born in Cuernavaca Morelos Mexico, and grew up between Southern California and New York city.
He graduated from Irvine Valley college in orange county California in fine arts photography, in 1997 he relocated to New York city to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology where he graduated in fashion photography.
After concluding his studies at FIT he worked as a night photo equipment manager at the world's best-known "Milk studios" where he started acquiring complete knowledge of photo equipment from the best in the industry.
2 years later he decided it was time to move on and went to Drive-in studios where he stayed for 2 years and got promoted to manage the studio/locations photo equipment department, where he began building his fashion portfolio as well.
He worked at Hudson studios for the next 10 years shooting for his own clients. He also worked for celebrity photographers such as: Bruce Webber, Matthias Clamer, Pamela Hansen, Jenny and Tom Betterton.
Oscar lives in Mexico City now, and focus on shooting fashion editorials, e-commerce, still life, beauty, personal projects, and portraiture photography.
He has had the opportunity to work for high profile clients such as:
Vogue Mexico, Elle Mexico, Latina Magazine, NY magazine, Universal Records, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Ray Brown to name a few.
